Come see us for our “rainy day” edition of the market, inside Stardust.  Plenty of delicious local food will be available, so you’ll have a chance to restock that fridge of yours. We’ll have Big Wheel Provisions, Wild Ocean, Heart of Christmas Farms, Bees Knees Sweet Treats, Kissimmee’s Green Place, Yum Yum Popsicles, the GreenH2Ouse, Olde Hearth Bread Company, Bear Wolf Ranch, Homegrown Co-op, Happy Rolls, 100% Edible and Fruiting Plants, and Natural Goodness Peanut Butter.

November 14, 2011 – Eat Local Week: Meet the Producers!

What an exciting evening we have planned! In addition to the three available Eat Local Week menu offerings from Big Wheel Provisions, Wild Ocean Seafood, and Stardust; we’ll also be welcoming three new produce vendors:  Kissimmee’s Green Place, R&B Organics, and The GreenH2Ouse!

We’ll also have samples from Winter Park Distilling and Palm Ridge Reserve, as well as pies and breads from Olde Hearth Bread Company! Come out and see us!!!

November 1, 2011 – Halloween Market wrapup

We’re quite proud to be in the top 3 of the “Best Farmers Market” category for the third consecutive year!!  We couldn’t have done it without our wonderful growers, fishers, chefs, and artisans who serve the only best in sustainably-raised local foods to the Central Florida community. Thank you, Orlando Weekly, and thank you all who voted!!

June 3, 2011 -  Gabby and Mike’s Locavore Wedding!

It’s a huge honor for our wedding day to be covered in this issue of Edible Orlando and it was an absolute pleasure to serve up Central Florida’s finest foods to our friends and loved ones. We can’t thank Edible Communities and the amazing local food producers (most of whom are a part of the Audubon Park Market) enough!

May 9, 2011 - The Farmworker Association of Florida

Members of this association will be with us at the market for the month of May, displaying the Lake Apopka Memorial Quilts. This organization has been building power among Florida’s farmworkers for more than 25 years.  With roots in  the Hispanic, Haitian, and African-American communities across Central and South Florida, they have a solid history of leadership development and generating effective action for social change.  Stop by and say hello!

April 16, 2011 – Come Celebrate the Local Food Community with Us!

We’ll be joining some of our favorite local food producers and organizers this weekend at the Florida Film Festival’s Eden Farmers’ Market.  The Film Festival is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a “heartfelt salute” to Florida, celebrating its films, culture, perspectives, and flavors!  We’ll be there with some Florida Flavors for sale from Heart of Christmas Farms.  Come see us and support your local food community!
